Layouts & shop drawings
We prepare stone layouts and fabrication drawings from the approved design and coordinated site measurements. The drawings define panel divisions, dimensions, joints, vein direction, edges and the interfaces with furniture, plumbing and other finishes.
Layouts help connect the overall design to the pieces that will be fabricated. We coordinate visible returns, mitred joints, cut-outs and installation references, then submit the required details for approval before production. Changes after approval are reviewed against the material and work already committed.

Can you work from an interior designer’s drawings?
Yes. Approved design information is the starting point. Production details and required site dimensions are coordinated before shop drawings are finalised.
When should site measurements be taken?
Production measurements depend on the readiness of the relevant substrates, cabinetry and adjacent finishes. We agree the necessary site conditions before measuring.
